Lets say you have a bunch of dominos, and you flick one over. That domino will hit another, and next one will hit another, until every domino has fallen.

You think to yourself “oh, if only I hadn’t flicked that domino, then they would not have all fallen over.”

You do not think to yourself “oh, if only that second domino haddn’t fallen after the first touched it. Then this never would have happened.”

The second domino bears no responsibility, even though it did more or less the same thing that you did.

With great responcibility comes great power. Inorder to take the blame for everything, you have to belive that you are the only force of will in the world. You have to believe that everyone else is just dominos.
